Front 52 High Street Ref: 08/01677/FUL

This property is at the front of 52 High Street and the application proposes Erection of 13 apartments and 1 town house with associated access road and amenity facilities following demolition of existing dwelling (Resubmission).

 

Our concern is that this represents over development and will dominate the top of the High Street. The sheer scale of the development along the road side will not fit in at all with the existing street scape both in terms of materials and scale - in what is after all a conservation area. Note how the elevation only shows the higher building to the right rather than the buildings to the left.
